Earth Week engages the entire 魅影直播 community in understanding progress toward our sustainability goals and what actions can lessen our carbon footprint and reduce our use of non-renewable resources.

2023 Earth Week Events

魅影直播 is committed to caring for the environment, and many of our facilities are cutting-edge examples of on-campus sustainability. A campus tour visited locations including the Community Garden, the dining halls, the Well, Park Science Center, the pond, and more. Facilities Services also unveiled our new fully electric maintenance vehicles purchased as part of our campus efforts to lessen the College鈥檚 Carbon footprint and to plant new trees on campus.

From trivia to wild flower planting, this year we celebrated our planet in appreciation. Our activities culminated in the not-to-be-missed Earthapalooza!


2021 Earth Week

Despite the Covid-19 disruption, we still celebrated Earth Day with a number of events:

  • Self-guided campus tree tour.
  • Virtual showing of Brother Outsider: The Life of Bayard Rustin 
  • Outdoor dance ensemble performance of signals by the Merion Green hammocks
  • Virtual community forum on sustainability and 魅影直播's commitment to carbon neutrality by 2035
  • Tree planting at Perry Garden
  • Clothing swap outside of Old Library
