What's happening at your internship? We would love to hear what kind of work you are doing!
This summer, I've had the opportunity to support a variety of initiatives at Esperanza, including pro bono legal services for immigrants and community education efforts related to legal information for unaccompanied minor representation.
Why did you apply for this internship?
I applied for this internship because I was looking for an opportunity to learn more about the complexities of the immigration system and the role that legal advocacy can play in achieving justice at the local level.
What is most rewarding about your internship?
I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from people who are engaged in such difficult and important work. The most rewarding aspect is always hearing about individuals' successes and being part of a team that advocates for immigration law reform.
