Physics Ph.D. Alumnae/i with physics faculty
A new modern physics lab, located in Room 156 of the newly renovated Park Science Building, has been dedicated to Alfonso Albano, Marion C. Reilly Professor Emeritus of Physics. A reception was held on October 27, 2018 to formally honor Professor Albano. Many distinguished alumnae attended this event, which included former executive director of the Five College Consortium and former ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ professor Neal Abraham (Ph.D. ’77), ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ former trustee Patricia Mooney (M.A. '69, Ph.D. ’72), and Naomi Halas (M.A. '84, Ph.D. '86), Rice University’s Stanley C. Moore professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
