Lantern Night
Come join ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Traditions in the second major tradition of the year! Lantern Night, which symbolizes the passing down of knowledge and wisdom, gifts all ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ first-year students with their lanterns. This event links the entire ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ community with each other and all of the students who came before us with the symbolic light of knowledge. The ceremony will begin promptly at 8 p.m. Spectators are welcome at the event and will be directed to a viewing area but must leave at the conclusion of the ceremony.
For upperclassmen students who would like to contribute to the ceremony, fill out the following form or email traditions@brynmawr.edu to sign up to be a Candle Lighter! With any questions, comments, concerns, or accommodations, feel free to reach out to traditions@brynmawr.edu!
÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ welcomes the full participation of all individuals in all aspects of campus life. Should you wish to request a disability-related accommodation for this event, please contact the event sponsor/coordinator. Requests should be made as early as possible.
