The Marian Consort performs at Haverford College
On Sunday, November 17 at 3 p.m., the Concert Artist Series presents THE MARIAN CONSORT performing their touring program “An Auld Alliance: Choral Music from Scotland” featuring music by Josquin des Pres, John Buchan, James MacMillan, Phillip Cooke, David Certon, Johannes Lupi, and more. This 10-person vocal ensemble presents bold and thrilling performances for audiences across the UK, Europe, North America and Asia. Led by founder and director, Rory McCleery, the group is composed of the very best singers in a flexible, intimate ensemble, allowing clarity of texture and subtlety of interpretation that illuminates the music for performer and audience alike. This concert will be held at Haverford College in the Michael Jaharis Recital Hall.
