The Collections Management Policy governs all procedures related to the development, management, preservation, and use of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥'s holdings of art works, cultural artifacts, rare books, and historical records, collections that are stewarded by Special Collections. The most recent version was approved by the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Board of Trustees on October 2, 2021.

The Collection Management Policy is a comprehensive written statement that:

• Sets forth the mission of the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Special Collections;
• Explains how this mission is pursued through collection activity,
• Articulates ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥â€™s professional standards regarding objects in its care, and
• Serves as a guide to staff in carrying out their collection related responsibilities.
